Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce logic-linked integrated programmes covering design, procurement, and construction, backed by build strategy, construction methodology, logistics scheme, and phasing plans.
  • •Provide pre-construction planning and programming advice to clients, including programme development, strategic scheduling, delivery planning, and programme assurance.
  • •Support the project team with planning functions by highlighting and explaining programme issues.
  • •Apply critical path analysis and assess the impact of change on critical and non-critical activities, including delivery of change/delay information.
  • •Coordinate programmes between clients, partners, consultants, and contractors, and report non-compliance for resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ experience delivering projects as a Senior Planner/Project Planner with a UK-based main contractor or project management consultancy.
  • •Experience across a variety of project types including residential, commercial, education, leisure, industrial, health, and retail.
  • •Proficient use of Asta Powerproject (Primavera and Microsoft Project are an added bonus).
  • •Experience providing strategic planning, programming, or project controls advice directly to clients during pre-construction stages is advantageous.
  • •Proven ability to produce programme outputs, reports, and updates aligned with defined scopes and T&T systems.
