Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, develop, and analyze security measures to protect critical information from counter-threats and possible attacks.
  • •Protect sensitive information by ensuring required software is functioning correctly; research methods to improve digital security and eliminate vulnerabilities.
  • •Monitor and review user access logs and provide user usage reports to management.
  • •Audit operations to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • •Evaluate and recommend installation/modification/replacement of hardware or software components; handle complex issues and may act as lead.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to obtain a CBP Background Investigation/clearance (some billets may require DoD Secret or Top-Secret access).
  • •Bachelor's degree preferred and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Proficiency in network and information system security principles and best practices.
  • •In-depth knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST publications, and the DHS 4300A Policy Directive.
  • •Experience implementing NIST 800-53 Security Controls in an Assessment & Authorization (A&A) process and reviewing Nessus scans/vulnerability mitigation in an enterprise environment.
