Job Summary

Architect and maintain enterprise-scale Azure environments, including hybrid Windows Server infrastructure and virtualization using Azure IaaS. Lead and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) implementations, provide escalation support for critical incidents and problem management, and mentor technical teams while covering 24x7 on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect and maintain enterprise-scale Azure environments, including hybrid Windows Server infrastructure.
•Manage Azure infrastructure components such as VM scale sets, storage, and availability configurations.
•Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption using Terraform and manage deployments using ARM/Bicep.
•Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines, Git workflows, and release automation.
•Lead AVD implementation and serve as an escalation point for critical incidents and problem management while mentoring teams and covering 24x7 on-call.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of experience architecting and operating large-scale Azure IaaS environments.
•Hands-on expertise with Azure Virtual Machines (Windows and Linux) including VM Scale Sets, managed disks, and storage accounts.
•Strong knowledge of Azure networking and security, including VNet, NSGs, ASGs, Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, Application Gateway (WAF), ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and private endpoints.
•Ability to drive Infrastructure as Code adoption using Terraform and ARM/Bicep templates with enterprise governance using landing zones, policies, and RBAC.
•Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (YAML, Git branching strategies, deployment automation) and supporting enterprise monitoring/observability and incident escalation.
