Key Responsibilities

•Improve Cloud and AI Infrastructure performance through hardware and software co-optimization, post-silicon performance analysis, and influence the strategic product roadmap.
•Collaborate with performance experts from partner companies to resolve performance issues and optimize the performance and total cost of ownership of their AMD datacenter technologies.
•Conduct workload analysis and characterization of AMD and competitive datacenter and AI solutions to identify opportunities for performance improvement in products.
•Drive the development of AI/ML-based infrastructure to automate performance analysis, anomaly detection, and efficiency improvements.
•Stay current with trends in CPU architecture, performance modeling, and analysis technologies; evaluate and adopt emerging tools to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Requirements

•Experience with CPU, GPU, or computer system microarchitecture and performance modeling
•Proficiency in SoC and system performance analysis concepts and tools including hardware performance monitors and PERF profiling
•Experience with datacenter and AI workload analysis and performance optimization
•Understanding of IO subsystem microarchitecture and PCIe/CXL protocols
•Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
