Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and actively participate in the geologic aspects of the underground operation at Bingham Canyon Mine.
  • •Assist with geologic mapping, ore control, geologic modelling, core logging, and LIDAR scanning.
  • •Gain exposure to and assist in mine planning, geotechnical engineering, hydrology, and operations.
  • •Grow in the geologic team through technical skill development and support for risk management, work management, and reliability.
  • •Participate in the Graduate Development Program, including leadership simulations, masterclasses, coaching, and networking with senior leaders and subject matter experts.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • •Completed studies within the last two years (2025, 2026) or working towards graduation in 2027.
  • •Bachelor or master’s degree in Geology/Geoscience (or a closely related field).
  • •Less than two years of relevant work experience (local and international).
  • •Leadership skills, eagerness to learn, flexibility and autonomy, good communication, ability to work in a team, and a valid driving license; experience with Vulcan and/or Leapfrog is preferred.
