Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and analyse evidence across the life of each case and set/agree case strategy in line with required KYO or generic strategies.
  • •Handle files under client guidelines, ensuring client satisfaction and achieving client and internal KPIs.
  • •Report to insurer clients throughout the claim, liaise with involved parties, and meet procedural and investigative deadlines.
  • •Protect the client’s position by achieving the best litigation outcomes, including advocacy where cost-effective, and using procedural tactical advantages.
  • •Maintain case management systems from opening to closure, ensure compliance with file management policies, and handle timely billing/MI updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in civil litigation claims handling as a legal File Handler or suitably qualified (e.g., ILEX, LPC).
  • •Experience handling linked and organised fraud is desirable.
  • •Experience of handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated case load.
  • •Understanding of insurance litigation practice, processes, indemnity principles, and working knowledge of the CPR.
  • •Good advocacy, client care, and evidence-handling skills, with strong analytical ability and deadline management.
