Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee data center design projects from site due diligence through construction documents and administration.
  • •Lead due diligence and design for core and shell work across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire protection.
  • •Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans, including scope-change detection and resolution.
  • •Administer peer reviews and quality checks in line with client and AECOM standards, and maintain the basis of design/localization process.
  • •Manage and grow the data center design team and host client/external stakeholder meetings while developing technical and financial proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, plus 8 years of relevant experience in design and/or project management (or equivalent).
  • •Active or recent leadership in data center and mission-critical trade organizations.
  • •Excellent communication in Spanish and English (written/oral).
  • •Preferred: Master’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • •Preferred: PMP Certificate or Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Professional.
