Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects.
  • •Provide support on major Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.
  • •Ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • •Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project.
  • •Prepare and maintain schedules of activity, including producing the master project plan.
  • •Manage the development of the project in accordance with approved plans and targets.
  • •Develop and implement resource plans and procurement of resources.
  • •Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
  • •Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
  • •Identify and monitor project risks and plan and implement risk mitigations.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in relevant discipline
  • •Working towards a professional qualification (MCIOB / APM or similar)
  • •Proven experience managing HT&M projects, ideally in a consultancy environment
  • •Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time
  • •Will be able to obtain BPSS level security clearance
