•Assist with risk assessment, scoping, and planning for the annual SOX cycle.
•Conduct process walkthroughs with business and IT stakeholders and maintain narratives, flowcharts, and control matrices.
•Execute design and operating effectiveness testing across business and IT controls, documenting results in audit-ready workpapers.
•Identify control deficiencies, assess root causes, and partner on pragmatic remediation with retesting of management action plans.
•Improve control testing and monitoring using data analytics, automation, and AI via Microsoft-enabled tools.

Key Requirements

•1–3+ years of public accounting and/or internal audit experience, with public accounting strongly preferred.
•CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent certification (certified or actively pursuing).

•Self-motivated, organized, and accountable, able to deliver high-quality work on time and raise issues early.
•Strong communicator who works effectively with stakeholders and adapts messaging to the audience.
