Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support to Pipeline Mechanical Engineers to achieve equipment reliability and performance while meeting safety, environmental, and economic guidelines.
  • •May support station manifold design, inspection data analysis, repair plan development, materials selection, and troubleshooting equipment performance with recommendations for maintenance.
  • •Conduct hydraulic analysis of pipeline segments.
  • •Assist Engineers and Electrical Techs in P&ID development.
  • •Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel to schedule installation and repair of pipeline equipment and help recognize and report safety, health, and environmental issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a Mechanical or Civil Engineering program at an accredited four-year college/university.
  • •Valid state issued driver’s license.
  • •Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
  • •Previous internship experience in the petrochemical or pipeline industry.
  • •Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
