Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary technical lead for Duo Security engagements, owning end-to-end delivery from design through implementation and handoff.
  • •Lead Duo deployment architecture and design across MFA policy design, enrollment strategies, phased rollouts, and self-service portal configuration.
  • •Design and implement Duo integrations across VPN/remote access, web applications (SAML/OIDC, Duo Web SDK), and cloud/on-prem infrastructure, including Admin API/Auth API automation.
  • •Plan and execute Duo-to-Duo and competitive migrations (e.g., to Okta or Entra ID), including security reviews and phased rollout exception handling.
  • •When Duo capacity allows, act as a supporting engineer for Okta and Ping Identity engagements, contributing hands-on integration/configuration, lifecycle management, testing, and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • •5+ years of Identity and Access Management experience with strong emphasis on MFA and access security.
  • •Deep, hands-on experience with Cisco Duo Security, including Duo MFA policy design/administration, Duo Authentication Proxy (RADIUS/LDAP/AD), and Duo SSO (SAML 2.0, OIDC).
  • •Working proficiency with Okta and/or Ping Identity (application integration, SSO/MFA, lifecycle management, and directory integrations such as Active Directory/LDAP/SCIM).
  • •Strong automation and protocol knowledge, including Python/PowerShell/Bash and familiarity with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and RADIUS.
