Job Summary

Design and build reliable, scalable, high-throughput money movement and bill payment capabilities for a global payments platform. You’ll guide architecture and development of secure backend services (orchestration, risks & fraud, multi-providers), help integrate AI capabilities to improve engineering workflows, and contribute directly to production code and proof-of-concepts. Work cross-functionally with product, security, risk, and operations, collaborating onsite in Vancouver 1–2 days per week.

•Guide the design and development of reliable, scalable, performant, secure services for the payments platform.
•Build payment platform capabilities including orchestration, risks & fraud, and multi-providers to accelerate payment product development.
•Develop a global bill payment product to help small businesses manage cash flow.
•Develop core high-throughput platform services supporting money movement across the ecosystem.
•Integrate and champion AI capabilities to accelerate engineering productivity and enhance developer workflows.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 186,000 - 236,000 annually

•Hands-on ability contributing directly to production code, proof-of-concepts, and technical deep dives.
