Job Summary

Lead structural engineering delivery for client projects as part of the CRC Structures team, partnering closely with the WSP USA group. You’ll handle detailed design and complex calculations using industry standards, manage documentation and QA processes, and communicate design decisions to project stakeholders. The role also supports junior engineers through coaching and training, while ensuring timelines, risks, and client changes are proactively tracked.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle assigned structural engineering tasks with minimal supervision and within allocated hours, meeting deadlines and keeping project managers informed about design progress and decisions.
•Follow document control and QA processes, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are issued and properly filed/archived.
•Perform detailed structural design per client requirements using relevant American standard codes, including complex calculations and coordination tasks, and support sign-off via team leadership.
•Organize technical calculations with team members and supervise delegated work to deadlines; report issues, risks, and client changes to the local CRC Structures Team Lead/WSP USA office.
•Support junior engineers by encouraging understanding of the design process and assisting with mentoring through training organized by the Team Lead.

Key Requirements

•B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
•Desirable: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in any US state or British Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent).
•Proficiency in technical structural software such as RAM SS, RAM Concept, ETABS, and Enercalc.
•Fluency in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology.
•Experience in analysis and design of mid to high rise building structures, including seismic design (high seismic zone preferred).
