Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee safety and security by ensuring ammunition is stored in magazines or on approved pads and meets federal, state, and military regulations.
  • •Conduct inspections and audits of storage areas, and investigate/respond to incidents or discrepancies in ammunition records.
  • •Supervise receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of ammunition and explosive materials while maintaining accurate inventory and stock levels.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience working with military ammunition and explosives.
  • •Strong knowledge of handling, storage, and disposal of explosives, with safe and secure operations.
  • •Proficiency in ammunition systems, storage facilities, and logistics for receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking.
  • •Experience leading a small team, including mentoring employees and maintaining high morale.
  • •Familiarity with IAW, ASP, and other relevant standards, plus the ability to manage inventory, forecast needs, and report readiness.
