Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide engineering support as part of the team in preparing design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications and cost estimates for provincial/municipal road work.
  • •Oversee the preparation of designs using CAD/transportation software.
  • •Attend and participate in client and public meetings.
  • •Liaise with clients and subconsultants; mentor junior staff and ensure quality management and safety.
  • •Manage project schedules, finances, quality, and health and safety; assist with business development activities such as proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation design of roads
  • •P.Eng. designation in Ontario
  • •Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (and Civil 3D) and/or MicroStation (and InRoads/OpenRoads) and other roadway design software
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • •Fluency in technical documentation and proposal writing
