Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a team lead, project manager, and/or discipline lead for BRT planning studies through final design.
  • •Oversee multidisciplinary teams and develop drawings, visual aids, and engineering calculations for BRT infrastructure.
  • •Prepare and/or review multimodal street design and participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
  • •Develop construction cost estimates and engineering effort estimates, and contribute to engineering budget and schedule.
  • •Coordinate tasks and provide leadership and mentorship to entry-level engineers, working with limited supervision to complete primary design elements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Professional Engineering license.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Microstation/Power InRoads or Power GeoPak or OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • •Roadway design experience with Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and/or Light Rail Transit (LRT) design experience.
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
