Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Field Verification platform end to end.
  • •Shift the platform from keep-the-lights-on operations to deliberate, prioritized development.
  • •Lead and grow the existing cross-functional team, hiring and developing engineers and Engineering Managers.
  • •Build operational efficiency features for field officers, including trip/route optimization, task allocation, and capacity management.
  • •Own the client-facing surface (APIs and webhooks) and deliver a native mobile experience; ensure verification data is structured and auditable for compliance scrutiny.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of software engineering experience with substantial hands-on production engineering and strong backend depth, specifically in Java and Spring Boot.
  • •At least 5 years of engineering leadership, including managing Engineering Managers.
  • •Credibility across backend, web, and mobile engineering for a platform spanning multiple layers.
  • •Experience translating operational and business requirements into engineering solutions, with strong collaboration with product and stakeholders.
  • •Strong plus: experience with location/geospatial data (map integrations) and route/trip or delivery optimization; plus experience building compliance-focused systems and/or identity/KYC/verification platforms.
