Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC and HMI software for Automatic Power Transfer applications.
  • •Select components and create bill of materials in line with customer and internal specifications.
  • •Prepare customer submittals, Sequence of Operation documents, and test procedures.
  • •Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as required, including onsite and remote troubleshooting.
  • •Provide sketches, mark-ups, and direction to electrical designers to support project drawings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution with at least 1 year of experience with power distribution applications.
  • •Ability to create, modify, test, and deploy PLC and HMI software for Automatic Power Transfer applications.
  • •Knowledge of best engineering practices for automation system and power management system design, including PLC programming and HMI software.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair automation and power systems.
  • •Must complete and maintain compliance with Eaton’s safety program, including applicable EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) requirements.
