Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I within a Financial Center, using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify and meet customers’ financial needs. After a 4–8 week onboarding and education program (with rotations in operations and Sales & Service), you’ll work teller transactions and platform staffing, cross-sell to consumers and small businesses, and coordinate referrals with business partners while maintaining risk and conduct standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and other approved Marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities, including membership and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and work as a member of the platform staff while adhering to risk, confidentiality, and conduct policies.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customer households and/or cross-sell to established customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
