Job Summary

Learn the Retail Personal Banker role through a 9-week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, cross-sell retail consumer and small business solutions, and proactively set appointments using CAMP and approved marketing tools. Support referrals with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and help deliver customer experience and production goals while following risk and ethics policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 9-week onboarding and education program to transition into the Retail Personal Banker I role, including a certification at program conclusion.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs and build thorough customer profiles.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews using CAMP and approved marketing tools.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities, partnering with Business Partners for mortgage and other referrals as appropriate.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Ability to comfortably perform sales activities to acquire new customer households and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated ability to understand advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
