Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide end-to-end financial management of ScottishPower Renewables land rental agreements, budgets, and associated costs, including external service costs, land rental payments, and business rates.
  • •Lead development of the land rental strategy and long-term financial outlook, producing forecasts and three-year budget plans based on operational activity and contractual commitments.
  • •Ensure robust governance across financial processes including tax returns, Renewables Obligation Certificates, financial statements, and payments to landowners.
  • •Provide expert financial input into negotiation and establishment of new lease agreements, advising on commercial structures and financial parameters.
  • •Maintain operational accountability for SAP RE land payments, ensuring accurate validation, approvals, compliance, data quality, and acting as escalation for complex landowner queries and complaints.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA).

  • •Experience managing significant budgets and financial structures, ideally within property, land, or estate sectors.
