Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop product parts, assemblies and design solutions that meet requirements for function, performance, reliability, safety, quality, cost and timing.
  • •Define design requirements with measurable targets considering technical, regulatory, manufacturing and cost constraints.
  • •Generate design concepts and evaluate them against requirements to identify suitable solutions, trade-offs and risks.
  • •Apply design for manufacture and design for assembly principles to create production-ready designs.
  • •Create, review or manage 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, tolerances and engineering documentation to support design development and release.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline; typically 2+ years in mechanical design/product development
  • •Experience designing plastic, rubber, metal or mechanical assembly components with DFM and DFA
  • •Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-up and design documentation
  • •Ability to translate technical requirements into practical design work and analyze constraints (technical, regulatory, manufacturing, cost)
  • •Strong problem-solving, prototyping, testing, data-driven decision making and collaboration across cross-functional teams
