Key Responsibilities

  • •Conceive power estimation methodologies/KPIs and build power estimation models/tools for GPU products and datacenter systems.
  • •Conduct early GPU and system architecture exploration to improve energy efficiency and TCO at GPU and datacenter level.
  • •Set power targets, track ASIC milestones, and drive performance-versus-power analysis to support roadmap decisions.
  • •Develop accurate power and performance models for GPUs/CPUs/switches/platforms using machine learning and workload understanding for GenAI/HPC.
  • •Perform pre-silicon thermal analysis (power maps, thermal simulations) and model/analyze technologies such as chiplets and high-speed/high-density interconnects.

Key Requirements

  • •MSEE/MSCE (preferably PhD) or equivalent experience in power/performance estimation and optimization techniques.
  • •8+ years of experience in power/performance modeling and optimization.
  • •Strong knowledge of energy-efficient chip/system design fundamentals and tradeoffs.
  • •Familiarity with low-power design techniques including multi-VT, clock gating, power gating, and DVFS.
  • •Experience with processor/server/system architecture performance/power modeling and Python-based data analysis.
