Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the 24-hour operational dark store on-site, including 6–8 hours daily presence with virtual coordination beyond on-ground hours.
  • •Coordinate end-to-end warehouse processes: inbound management, stock handling, storage, and order dispatching.
  • •Steer warehouse operations to agreed SLAs and KPIs, proactively recommending operational goals, objectives, and process improvements.
  • •Manage workplace safety & health procedures via periodic risk assessments, ensuring policy, procedure, and work standards are met.
  • •Ensure accurate stock control and dispatch: periodical stock takes, tracking expiries to prevent damaged/expired products reaching customers, and coordinating maintenance/escalations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s from a reputable university.
  • •In-depth knowledge of operations and first principles (e.g., supply chain, customer service, JIT, Six Sigma).
  • •Knowledge of industry’s local legislation.
  • •Stakeholder management experience with vendor goods delivery teams and local community/neighbours.
  • •Working knowledge of performance/operation metrics, including warehouse management systems, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment tools.
