Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide peer support and member advocacy for individuals needing intensive wellness support and recovery-oriented interventions.
  • •Guide members in creating and using Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and crisis prevention strategies based on member choice.
  • •Engage members across inpatient and community settings to support post-crisis planning, transitions, and connections to community-based health and social support networks.
  • •Implement and monitor strategies for members and families to improve health and quality of life outcomes, identifying and addressing gaps in services.
  • •Document all interactions per company standards and travel to meet members within the community.

Salary: USD 41,505 - 62,255 annually

Key Requirements

  • •CPRS/CPS/CPSS/CRPS/PRSS or Peer Specialist credentials as required by state.
  • •Must have or obtain the National Peer Support Credential (NCPS/NCPRSS) within one year of hire.
  • •Must be a self-identified person in recovery and a current or former user of mental health/substance use services.
  • •Must have a vehicle in good, working condition and be able to travel within the field regularly.
  • •Knowledge of wellness strategies, resiliency/recovery principles, and tools such as Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP), wraparound process, and community-based peer support organizations and services.
