Own EHS strategy and hands-on execution for the fulfillment center’s safety programs, serving as a floor-level presence for walk-throughs, incident investigations, and training. Drive performance on OSHA recordables, manage ORIR/LTI rates, and lead corrective and preventative actions with integrated Operations support. Ensure onboarding safety training completion, run monthly safety audits, maintain emergency response readiness, and actively manage workers’ compensation claims and modified duty programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive strategic oversight and day-to-day execution of safety programs across the fulfillment center.
•Conduct walk-throughs, lead incident investigations, and ensure corrective and preventative actions are completed.
•Maintain accurate OSHA documentation, manage investigations, and close corrective actions on time.
•Support onboarding safety training completion and ensure preparedness before associates’ first shift on the floor.
•Conduct monthly safety audits, maintain emergency response readiness, and manage workers’ compensation claims and modified duty programs.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of safety or EHS experience, ideally in a production, warehouse, distribution center, or e-fulfillment environment.
•Formal or extensive regulatory experience, including responsibility for OSHA logs, complaints, and onsite support.
•Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.
•Hands-on experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
•Ability to independently own and execute integrated safety programs without Safety Supervisor support, with strong influence and cooperation.
