Job Summary

Lead FP&A efforts for Athene by analyzing and forecasting financial performance, building analytics to explain variances, and maintaining the enterprise forecast model. Key Responsibilities

•Conduct in-depth analysis of Athene’s financial performance, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
•Build and institutionalize analytics to explain and attribute variances in Spread Related Earnings (SRE) and KPIs relative to expectations.
•Maintain ownership of the enterprise-level forecast model, which is relied on by key stakeholders as the source of truth for Athene’s expected financial performance.
•Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across Athene (Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Treasury/Capital Management, Corporate Development, IT) and Apollo to support various initiatives.
•Engage directly with subject matter experts to bridge the gap between complex underlying drivers and financial results.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
•Progress toward actuarial (e.g., FSA) and/or financial designations (e.g., CFA) strongly preferred.
•7+ years of professional experience in FP&A, insurance, actuarial, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, consulting, or related work experience.
•Advanced financial modeling capabilities (e.g., Excel, financial forecasting software) and problem solving skills, with ability to design, build, and maintain complex analyses and executive-ready materials.
•Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate highly technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
