Job Summary

Own the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platform end to end, including administration, governance, security, performance, and cost. Build and maintain data integration pipelines feeding a centralized lakehouse and an access layer for BI tools and AI data agents. Set platform standards and architectural decisions, enforce RBAC and data governance with Microsoft Entra ID and Purview, automate operations with REST APIs/PowerShell, and bridge business needs into technical data models and pipeline designs.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer Fabric tenants, capacities, workspaces, and the OneLake ecosystem, optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost.
•Manage Power BI tenant settings, workspaces, gateways, and dataset/semantic-model refresh with governance for content and sharing standards.
•Build and enforce security and access controls (RBAC/least-privilege) via Microsoft Entra ID and apply data governance controls (sensitivity labels, DLP) with Microsoft Purview.
•Automate operations and support CI/CD for Fabric/Power BI assets using REST APIs, PowerShell, and Power Automate.
•Build and maintain secure data integration pipelines into the centralized lakehouse and own the data access layer for BI tools and AI data agents.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,000

Key Requirements

•5+ years administering Microsoft data/analytics platforms with hands-on ownership of Fabric and/or Power BI in production.
•Strong knowledge of Fabric tenant/capacity administration, workspace governance, and OneLake.
•Experience building data integration pipelines and integrating data from diverse source systems, including engineering/operational databases and third-party APIs.
•Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, least-privilege access, and data governance/security best practices (encryption, data classification, DLP, auditing), ideally with Microsoft Purview.
•PowerShell and REST API scripting/automation, with the ability to independently translate business requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
