Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a diverse engineering team and first-line managers working across electro-optical systems, active EO technologies, sensors, algorithms, and integration/test.
  • •Set AEOS strategy and roadmaps, translating mission needs into executable plans, budgets, and measurable outcomes.
  • •Establish and improve engineering processes, tools, and metrics to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • •Provide technical oversight for architectures, designs, analyses, integration/test plans, and verification/validation activities.
  • •Acquire and allocate resources, foster inclusive culture, and champion career growth, mentoring, succession planning, and talent pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Current Tier 5 (T5) security clearance, formerly SSBI, or enrollment in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • •Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering/engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science discipline.
  • •5+ years of experience leading or managing an engineering project or team.
  • •Product development and systems engineering experience.
  • •Ability to provide hands-on technical oversight while executing complex programs in a mission-driven environment.
