Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide thorough reviews of capital project submittals to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • •Assess process-related assumptions within capital projects to ensure technical, operational, and economic soundness.
  • •Perform feasibility assessments that consider market conditions, business plan outlooks, and long-term fuels strategy.
  • •Assess the technical feasibility of proposed initiatives and ensure alignment with long-term strategic objectives.
  • •Provide structured recommendations on project justification, value creation, and alignment with enterprise strategy.
  • •Perform reviews of business plans and investment plan submissions to ensure consistency with downstream planning.
  • •Perform detailed reviews of strategic studies and provide engineering insights that strengthen investment decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • •10 years’ experience in process engineering, economic evaluation, capital project reviews, and planning activities within the downstream sector.
  • •Strong capability in process evaluation, technical analysis, and understanding of refinery and fuels systems.
  • •Experience with downstream process optimization.
  • •Experience with investment screening and sensitivity assessments is preferred.
