Key Responsibilities

  • •Improve team capability through coaching, training, and maintaining performance dashboards for the Contracts function.
  • •Ensure effective, quality supplier contracts by drafting agreements and improving contract enforceability and templates.
  • •Develop and apply procurement/category strategies through market research, risk analysis, and supply chain/performance improvement initiatives.
  • •Lead supplier evaluation, selection, relationship management, and supplier negotiations including tender and agreement execution.
  • •Monitor contracting status and expiry dates, renew/replace contracts timely, and drive contracting process improvements (including Power BI and automated service request tracking).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a commercial, engineering, commerce or law discipline (verified by ZAQA).
  • •10+ years supervising/managing a commercial/contracts team.
  • •End-to-end category management with proven value delivery.
  • •Strong procurement fundamentals and ability to deliver large, complex projects.
  • •Tactical and strategic negotiation plus vendor and contract drafting/management experience, including risk management.
