Job Summary

Lead and manage Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) and ITS/V2X projects within WSP's Intelligent Mobility team. Collaborate with local and international teams on multimodal transportation initiatives, drive business development, and coordinate with clients, agencies, and industry groups to advance national ITS programs and research efforts across the U.S.

Location: Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, Nashville

Job Function: Program & Project Management (PMO)

Key Responsibilities

•Support or lead TSMO, ITS, and V2X projects.
•Support planning, policy analysis, funding strategies, system requirements, concept of operations, strategic communications, and risk management with a focus on multimodal and freight solutions.
•Support national research and deployment efforts, including USDOT, NCHRP, and pooled fund studies.
•Drive or support business development and strategic pursuits nationally and locally.
•Represent clients, agencies, subcontractors, and industry groups; develop promotional materials and build strategic alliances and partnerships; participate in contract negotiations.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in engineering, transportation planning, public policy, or related field
•8-15+ years of experience in the transportation industry
•Demonstrated leadership and client networking skills
•Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
•U.S. work authorization required
