Key Responsibilities

  • •Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective prismatic battery cell suppliers.
  • •Manage on-going communication channels to ensure alignment on supplier performance, expectations, and improvements.
  • •Address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure continuity of supply.
  • •Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance, such as quality, delivery reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • •Lead the cross-functional team from the commercial perspective, ensuring Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Material Planning, and Production are aligned to the overall commodity strategy.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s.
  • •Minimum 8 years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience related ideally in Battery Cell & Enclosures.
  • •Proven experience with complex analysis, consulting, supply chain, and data analytics.
  • •Proficient in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
  • •Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage difficult suppliers and drive results.
