Job Summary

Serve as a Financial Center Personal Banker I focused on consultative sales to identify and meet customers’ retail and small business financial needs. Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, including an end-of-program certification. Process teller transactions, cross-sell and refer customers, build relationships with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment), and meet customer experience and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete onboarding and education rotations (operations and Sales & Service) and demonstrate required skills through an end-of-program certification.
•Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments, and support periodic financial reviews.
•Process teller transactions and support the platform staff, including opening/servicing retail products and participating in the consumer loan and bankcard process.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to established customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
