Job Summary

Perform quality checks on the production floor and monitor daily manufacturing activities to ensure procedures, batching, placement, and curing meet specification requirements. Closely review and document test data and inspection records, complete pre-pour and post-pour inspections of precast/prestress concrete products, and manage item movement and marking. Escalate deviations and major defects to the Quality Control Manager while maintaining safe, organized work practices and backing up records.

Key Responsibilities

•Verify that procedures are followed according to specification requirements by communicating with production leads.
•Monitor daily production activities to ensure correct batching, placement, and curing techniques are performed.
•Closely monitor test data for compliance and notify the Quality Control Manager of any deviations.
•Perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections of precast/prestress concrete products and complete/document testing records and inspections.
•Control movement and marking of items through production, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support corrective actions as needed.

Key Requirements

•Previous experience in the precast industry, related industry, or equivalent experience.
•ACI Field Tech I quality control certification (preferred).
•Knowledge of how to read and interpret shop/engineering drawings.
•Maintain clear and precise record-keeping, including testing and inspection documentation.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
