Key Responsibilities

•Design COTS hardware infrastructure systems (e.g. X86-based processors)
•Research and selection of servers, workstations, add-in interface cards, storage devices, and other COTS hardware
•Engineer BIOS and operating system configuration definitions
•Work in a lab environment and operate standard test equipment including oscilloscopes, processor bus analyzers, emulators, and data capture tools
•Collaborate with hardware engineering disciplines, supply chain, suppliers, field engineering, on-site installation and trades, and Customers to develop and deliver safety critical systems

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
•Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in hardware and software, Unix/Linux
•Experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and IT infrastructure through rigorous design and documentation
•Experience taking a system design concept to a complete COTS-based hardware design and verification
•Experience working in a lab with oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, emulators and data capture tools
