Key Responsibilities

•Develop Wise products from Seoul and help challenge existing banking approaches for Korean customers.
•Build and improve core customer flows, including self-service solutions, automation, and tooling for Operations.
•Create robust financial infrastructure to deliver a simple, rapid experience for international transactions.
•Design clear, helpful interfaces while maintaining consistency, maintainability, and performance.
•Identify and solve important problems, coordinate on cross-cutting technical issues, and proactively manage technical debt.

Key Requirements

•Strong product mindset focused on user experience, prioritizing customer impact and making data-driven decisions to address pain points.
•Ability to communicate complex, technical concepts in English and Korean to non-technical audiences.
•Experience writing testable code and following Test Driven Development (TDD).
•Knowledge of Java 21 and experience with the Spring framework.
•Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and schema design.
