Key Responsibilities

  • •Champion health and safety standards across the distribution network and ensure 3PL partners repeat these standards.
  • •Oversee yard management and site 3PL shunting operations, including exploring engineering solutions to reduce shunting-related risks.
  • •Develop and continuously improve third-party partnerships, sustainable planning, and the logistics network to enhance delivery performance and reduce environmental impact.
  • •Drive distribution compliance for HMRC and import/export teams, ensuring inbound and outbound loads meet legal, HMRC, and company standards.
  • •Manage logistics budget and financial controls, analyse third-party expenditure, and implement cost-control measures while maintaining service levels.
