Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery or act as a key element of a wider project team on complex projects.
  • •Deliver effective cost management from pre-contract to handover, including estimating, cost planning, and producing the final cost plan.
  • •Manage tendering and procurement activities, including pre-qualification, tender list creation, tender analysis and reporting, and compiling contractual documents.
  • •Handle post-contract cost variances and change control, including cost checks, valuations on larger projects, and timely and accurate reporting.
  • •Contribute to value engineering, interface with clients and consultants, negotiate and agree final accounts, and lead junior team members where appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge and experience in healthcare and/or education sectors, including public-sector healthcare bodies.
  • •Ability to lead clients through project stages from feasibility to completion.
  • •Experience delivering projects via Two-Stage tendering.
  • •Experience working with JCT and NEC contracts.
  • •Experience producing monthly post-contract cost reports, managing procurement through contract preparation, and negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
