Job Summary

Design and implement next-generation telematics software architecture that accounts for both OEM vehicle architecture and modem characteristics. Lead network and data routing design inside and outside the vehicle, and deliver cellular-processor/application-processor services through implementation and evaluation. Collaborate with tiers to build stable telematics systems, maintain and update telematics specifications, and design and execute related derivative features, including communications for multiple in-vehicle controllers.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement next-generation telematics S/W architecture.
•Design and implement in-vehicle and external networks, including routing design.
•Design, implement, and evaluate services for Cellular Processor and Application Processor.
•Lead collaboration with tiers to implement stable telematics systems.
•Implement stable communications for various in-vehicle controllers and support telematics spec maintenance, updates, and related derived tasks.

Key Requirements

•Analyze OEM requirements (specs) and reflect them in SW architecture, including HW dependency review.
•Design communication and integration methods across multiple controllers that require modem integration.
•Implement design and optimization considering RIL (Radio Interface Layer) and vehicle API framework structure.
•Manage design for in-vehicle Ethernet/network topology, including VLAN configuration and Data Profile (APN).
•Design and implement data tethering/routing using backhaul network control and QCMap.
