Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of 4–5 engineers (or 4–6), with strong technical ownership.
  • •Coach engineers through feedback, career development, calibration, and performance management while scaling via recruiting and onboarding.
  • •Stay hands-on across architecture, pair programming, code reviews, and on-call.
  • •Partner with product and design to shape roadmaps, scope work, plan sprints, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • •Drive system decisions for reliability, observability, scalability, and automate workflows with exception handling without sacrificing accuracy or trust.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern full-stack technologies.
  • •2+ years of hands-on engineering management experience, including hiring and performance management.
  • •Remain technical enough to pair program, contribute directly, and review code.
  • •Exceptional product judgment, including writing PRDs, critiquing designs, sizing opportunities, and driving progress.
  • •Highly proficient with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL (or similar modern stacks).
