Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee design, implementation, maintenance, and quality review of the crisis management programme to ensure a robust Emirates response to major accidents or incidents across the route network.
  • •Develop emergency response planning frameworks and procedures aligned with CRP management direction and compliant with IOSA and other regulatory requirements.
  • •Design and deliver an emergency response awareness programme (training and exercises), including learning needs analysis and continuous updates to keep programmes relevant and accurate.
  • •Manage departmental systems and crisis management software applications, including quality monitoring, corrective action planning, user testing, and enhancement recommendations.
  • •Provide emergency and family assistance support for passenger incidents and manage responder recruitment/retention and crisis facilities readiness, including exercises and deployment testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a completed degree or honours qualification (12+3 or equivalent).
  • •Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Airport Operations, Airport Services, Commercial Operations, or a related discipline, including at least 2 years ideally in emergency planning.
  • •Know how to develop, implement, and deliver training on emergency response plans, procedures, and programmes.
  • •Demonstrate strong IT literacy and proficiency in relevant technology applications.
  • •Have knowledge of systems such as Infospace and Emergency Management Systems (advantageous).
