Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage the fire engineering team, Defence workload management, project delivery and performance.
•Oversee delivery of large, complex Defence projects to meet regulatory requirements and client expectations.
•Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and national leadership to ensure projects are on time, within budget and high quality.
•Lead Performance & Review process by setting SMART goals and conducting staff appraisals in line with AECOM processes.
•Mentor staff toward Chartership and contribute to staff development plans.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in a large, multi-disciplinary environment.
•Comprehensive knowledge of UK standards and guidance documents (e.g., ADB, BS 9991/9999/9992, HTM 05-02, BB100).
•Comprehensive knowledge of Defence standards (JSP 80, DIFS).
•Proficiency in fire engineering tools (FDS, SFE) and evacuation modelling software.
•Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., MIFireE) and/or NFPA CFPE; BEng/MEng or MSc in fire science/engineering.
