Key Responsibilities

•Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues using real-time data.
•Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
•Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations, and handle the necessary repairs.
•Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians as needed.
•Maintain accurate paperwork/electronic documentation and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

•Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
•Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
•Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
•Provide superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
•EPA 608 certification preferred; if not certified, be able to obtain it within 6–12 months of employment.
