Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned projects by establishing schedules and project parameters, including tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, CPM analysis, and histogram analysis.
  • •Work with the engineering team to support engineering programming and material selection activities related to projects.
  • •Assist in establishing and maintaining an operations budget by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring forecasted cost at completion.
  • •Support preparations for subcontractor RFQs, including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values.
  • •Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and owners on scope, budgets, performance, and close-out while helping supervise assigned staff and subcontractors/installers.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the entire internship; must have completed at least sophomore/2nd year before the start date.
  • •Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods via coursework, projects, group involvement, or related hands-on experience.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and be able to provide proof of insurance with no major/frequent traffic violations (including specified offenses) in the last 3 years.
