Key Responsibilities

•Lead a national team of engineers delivering BESS and electrical systems for renewables across Australia
•Drive the delivery of Owner’s Engineer (OE), Technical Due Diligence (TDD), electrical design and advisory services
•Identify, pursue and secure new opportunities, strengthening WSP’s position in the energy transition market
•Oversee bid preparation and submissions with clear value propositions and high win rates
•Act as Project Director on major projects or portfolios and manage team resourcing, performance and development

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
•10+ years’ experience in the power industry with BESS and HV experience, ideally operating at an Associate level or above within an engineering consulting environment
•Proven experience in leading engineering teams in renewables and BESS
•Familiarity with Owner’s Engineer (OE), Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and design engagements
•Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting or leading business development activities
