Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle complex systems, procedures, and queries, using judgment to resolve issues and provide advice within parameters set by management.
  • •Manage staff or co-ordinate and prioritize team workloads; act as a role model and coach colleagues when not in a supervisory role.
  • •Research, analyse, and interpret complex data using University systems, producing bespoke reports and identifying and resolving data issues.
  • •Support operational processes and systems, including processing and monitoring more complex data (financial, HR, student-related or other) and chasing missing information.
  • •Coordinate administrative work such as event organisation, committee/meeting secretarial support, budget monitoring and processing payments, procurement of goods and services, and addressing facilities/health and safety issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) such as a Level 3 NVQ or Level 3 national diploma, or relevant work experience demonstrating capability for the role.
  • •Minimum grade C/4 in Mathematics and English at GCSE (or equivalent).
  • •Highly proficient IT skills, including MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with an enterprise resource planning package, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • •Experience implementing or working with automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to proactively plan and meet deadlines.
