Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, modify, and repair Nelson stud welding systems, including power sources, accessories, and field diesel units
  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, modify, and repair customer equipment
  • •Assist customers in person and by telephone with equipment, accessory, and technical problems
  • •Assist sales representatives with equipment, accessory, and technical problems
  • •Perform in-house training and demonstrations; weld samples for customers and sales representatives

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree (A.S./A.A.S.) or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training
  • •Experience with high voltage electro-mechanical systems (three-phase power)
  • •Ability to read, write, and interpret complex technical documents, electrical schematics, and procedure manuals
  • •Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • •Ability to speak effectively before groups and calculate figures/amounts; must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds
