Job Summary

Lead a high-performing Site Reliability Engineering team to evolve reliability practices for Docusign’s global, AI-powered Intelligent Agreement Management platform. Own day-to-day reliability, availability, and performance, and build world-class reliability tools used by engineering teams. Partner with product, engineering, and compliance on error budgets and SLOs, champion the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), and shift from reactive incidents to predictive mitigation through chaos engineering and self-healing automation.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive the day-to-day reliability, availability, and performance of Docusign’s global platform by proactively monitoring and maintaining resilient infrastructure.
•Lead engineering teams in developing and maintaining reliability tools, automation, and APIs used internally to accelerate developer velocity.
•Manage, mentor, and grow a team of SREs, fostering continuous learning, psychological safety, and technical excellence.
•Partner with product and development teams to implement and monitor Error Budgets and SLOs to protect signers’ experience.
•Champion adoption of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and move from reactive incident response to predictive mitigation using chaos engineering and automated self-healing mechanisms.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, SRE, or Software Engineering, including at least 4 years directly managing engineering teams in high-scale SaaS.
•Experience guiding teams building tools and automation, with infrastructure-as-code and internal developers as primary users.
•Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, drive uptime standards, and handle incident management effectively.
•Strong technical priority decision-making based on user impact, translating technical metrics into customer trust.
•Experience using modern programming languages (such as Go or Python) to review code, guide architecture, and lead automation efforts.
