Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose issues and perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems using independent judgment.
  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts using real-time information and technology.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
  • •Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed, and help with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools, plus extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics/diagrams.
  • •Superior customer service and teamwork, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with field service, maintenance, and repair experience preferred.
  • •Physical ability to move, stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds; safety-sensitive role contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen.
